Our 
    Story

Jason and Christine's story began back in September 2012, resonating with the vibrant notes of a concert in Blue Lake. They connected over a shared passion for music and events, which set the stage for a long journey of intertwining their lives together. They first felt 'sparks' during FireFall and Halloween in October of that year, which fueled a curiosity that led them to continue exploring their connection.

After Christine graduated college, she returned to Connecticut but felt an undeniable pull back to the California coast. In January 2013 she decided to take a leap of faith and move back to Humboldt where her and Jason were able to continue deepening their bond. Later that year, Jason introduced Christine to his family in LA, and by September, they were navigating the surreal landscapes of Burning Man together. By Fall 2013, a year after forming their initial connection, Christine officially moved into Jason's apartment, and they proudly became "Facebook official".

In 2014, after outgrowing Jason's bachelor pad, they moved into their first place together, a beautiful home surrounded by gardens and deer in Humboldt. This year also marked Jason's first visit to Christine's family in Connecticut, where he tried his very first Maine Lobster, and they got to experience Alex Grey's Chapel of Sacred Mirrors together.

In 2016, they made a big move from Humboldt to Hollywood, marking a major milestone in their shared journey. Here, Christine pursued her career goals and Jason pursued his graduate studies. Feeling that something was missing, in March 2017 they welcomed their dog Griffin into their lives, adding a new dimension of joy and love to their home.

The pandemic years presented challenges, but they navigated them together, diving into new hobbies such as gardening, DIY home renovations, and mastering the art of pizza making. Through weathering the highs and lows together, they became stronger as a couple. Finally, in November 2022, Jason proposed, marking an exciting new chapter of their lives.

After much reflection, we chose to return to Humboldt to exchange our vows. Our journey is shaped by music, love, and shared adventures, and has brought us full circle to celebrate in the place where our love story started.
