*TRAVEL*
Part of the unique appeal of Humboldt County is its' remote location, and with that, there are a few different options for traveling to the area.
FLIGHTS
Arcata–Eureka Airport - ACV

The airlines which fly into this airport are United and Avelo. The Avelo flights usually have better rates, and we've never had any issues flying with them.​
​
We recommend that you fly in early on Wednesday. The weather can be unpredictable, and this will allow a cushion in case of delays.
LOCAL CAR RENTALS
We strongly encourage you to rent a car, as most activities in the area require driving, and Uber/Lyft/Taxi drivers are VERY limited.
​
We recommend that you rent a car from the airport, which has cars from AVIS, Budget, Enterprise and National. There is a Hertz location in Eureka, but we do NOT recommend this, as it's much harder to pick up and drop off here from the airport.
​
Another option is Turo.com, where you can rent cars from locals, who will likely arrange a drop off and pick up at the airport for you if you request it upon booking.

Dates included in room block rates are Monday 9/16 (check in) - Monday 9/23 (check out), but please ensure you are manually selecting the dates YOU need if they differ. You can reduce the dates as needed and keep the group rate, but if you want to add dates beyond these, please let us know.
